     Having studied under some of the top trainers in the industry, Samantha is a prime example of a well-rounded horse woman. She had a very successful  amateur career under the excellent instruction of Dressage trainer Joanne Lawrence and Morgan trainer, Scott Travers- both of Driftway Meadows LLC. The pinnacle of her time with Driftway was a World Championship in the Youth Hunter Pleasure in 2012. She made two trips to the Morgan World Championships as an amateur and also earned a National Championship, a Reserve National Championship as well as three other top-five placings in the huge Hunter division.

     After deciding to pursue a career in horse training, she moved to West Virginia to work as an apprentice for renowned American Saddlebred trainer, Smith Lilly of Mercer Springs Farm, to pursue more Saddle Seat education. From there she accepted an Assistant Trainer position with Amanda DuPont of Windward Morgans, one of the most versatile Morgan trainers in the business. During her time at Windward she trained and/or showed multiple horses to State, Regional, and National championships in various disciplines.

     In 2018 Samantha started from scratch and moved to North Carolina to build her own training business. As part of an equestrian niche, Samantha hopes to introduce more people to the breeds and styles she loves.
